What is Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp Micropigmentation is a minimally invasive procedure performed on the scalp area, with the main objective of filling in areas affected by hair loss.
It is a technique that darkens the scalp, reproducing hair follicles through the implantation of pigments that artistically produce the illusion of hair.
This procedure gives the patient the opportunity to resolve not only an aesthetic issue, but also to recover their self-esteem.
The technique is performed using fine needles, driven by a motor (dermograph) with a stable and precise frequency, which implants a small amount of pigments in the epidermis (most superficial layer of the skin) of the scalp.
Who is it for?
This procedure is aimed at all men and women with total or partial hair loss who want to improve the appearance of their scalp.
This hair intervention is a simple procedure and therefore indicated for people who want immediate results without major constraints.
Scalp Micropigmentation is also recommended for those who want to camouflage scars that may result from surgeries. This technique is very sought after by people with androgenetic or alopecia areata and by young people who notice the first signs of hair loss.
What are the results?
Shaved hair effect: In cases of pronounced baldness or total absence of hair, the result artistically achieves the effect of hair shaved with a blade or machine.
Density effect: Scalp Micropigmentation is also indicated to darken the scalp when there is little natural hair or after a hair transplant that resulted in a need for more density.
As many sessions as necessary are performed, varying according to each patient's condition. A prior evaluation is mandatory before the procedure.
The results are immediate. The pigments are placed directly in the epidermis in a homogeneous way.
Right after the procedure the dots are more delicate, but they end up expanding slightly over the following days.

How long does it last?
It is a minimally invasive treatment and because it is applied to the epidermis, it does not remain forever as happens with a tattoo.
In this way, around the 3rd year it begins to fade gradually until it disappears over the years, varying in each case.
A comprehensive maintenance every 3 years may be recommended or you can opt for small annual maintenance sessions.
The goal is to extend the life of the colour and maintain a sharper effect.
